This Extremely Rare 1976 MLB *All-Star* Game 10K Gold Ring (Philadelphia) is an amazing piece, as it's the only 10K Gold *All-Star* Game ring from 1976, that has ever surfaced in the hobby!! NOTE: The players were issued non-gold rings for their participation in the All-Star Game.

Manufactured by world renowned - BALFOUR, it was issued to Joseph Reichler, who was a very famous sportswriter for the Associated Press from 1943 to 1965! He was best known for his coverage of Major League Baseball, and was known for his scoops on the Dodgers moving to Los Angeles, and Joe DiMaggio's retirement, among others! He later joined the Office of the Commissioner in 1966, as Director of Baseball Publicity for 9-years. In 1974, he became the Vice-President of Major League Baseball promotions, until retirement in 1985. A prolific writer of magazine articles also, he also edited the Macmillan Baseball Encyclopedia, plus "It's Good To Be Alive" (with Roy Campanella), "Baseball's Greatest Moments", and "The Game and the Glory". Joseph Reichler received the J.G. Taylor Spink Award from the "Hall of Fame" in 1975!

This super scarce ring is stamped "Balfour 10K", is a size-9.5 and weighs 29.5 grams of solid 10K Gold. What a find!!!!
