This stunning and exceptionally rare 1983 University of Florida Gators 10K Gold Gator Bowl Championship Ring is an authentic Herff Jones salesman sample. This ring is identical in design, construction, and quality to the rings presented to the players.
The 1983 Florida Gators finished the season with an impressive 9-2-1 record, earned a No. 6 final national ranking, and capped off the season by defeating Iowa 14-6 in the Gator Bowl. Led by head coach Charley Pell, the team featured future NFL standouts including Wilber Marshall, Neal Anderson, Lorenzo Hampton, Lomas Brown, and John L. Williams.
This amazing ring was manufactured by Herff Jones and is stamped "HJ 10K" along with serial numbers inside the band. It is approximately a size 10.75 to 11 and weighs 34.4 grams. The ring is in near mint condition with light signs of wear.
