1998 Louisville Cardinals Motor City Bowl Ring

This is an outstanding 1998 Louisville Cardinals Motor City Bowl Championship Ring. The ring was manufactured by Balfour and is stamped Balfour GTC for Gold-Tone Celestrium. It is in near mint condition with light signs of wear (See Photos and video). The ring is approximately a size 11.5 and weighs 32.9 grams. It was awarded to equipment manager Walter Rhodes.

Led by head coach John L. Smith, the 1998 Louisville Cardinals earned a berth in the Motor City Bowl following a successful season. The Cardinals faced Marshall in the Motor City Bowl, with quarterback Chris Redman leading one of the nation's most prolific passing offenses and helping elevate Louisville into a rising national program.

This is a rare opportunity to own an official team-issued Motor City Bowl ring from the Louisville Cardinals football program.

Per NCAA policy, the ring is constructed of non-gold materials with C.Z. stones.
