The Tide finished an impressive 7-1 in the S.E.C., crushing the Florida Gators 34-7 in the SEC Championship on December 4, 1999!! Alabama went on to the "Orange Bowl" ...... Their 50th bowl game, narrowly loosing a nail-bitting 35-34 OT game to the Michigan Wolverines, but still finishing with an impressive 10-3 record.
