This vintage, really cool-looking 1948 Chicago Tribune Golden Gloves Ring is solid 14K Gold with a real diamond! The ring was awarded to 160 LBS. amateur champion - Alvin Williams, and it's a Size-7.5, weighing 15-Grams!

History of Golden Gloves:
Chicago Tribune sports editor Arch Ward conceived the idea of a city wide amateur boxing tournament in 1923, to be sponsored by the newspaper. Each champion was awarded a miniature golden glove which gave the tournament its name.
