1989 Oakland Athletics World Series Champions Ring
The Oakland Athletics capped off an incredible 1989 season by defeating the San Francisco Giants in the World Series. The A’s swept the Giants in four games in the famous “Battle of the Bay,” capturing the franchise’s ninth World Series championship and their first since 1974.
This impressive championship ring was made for a member of the Oakland A’s organization and features a large green stone surrounded by cubic zirconia, with “Oakland World Athletics Champs” around the face. One side commemorates the 1989 World Series and Battle of the Bay, while the opposite side features the iconic A’s elephant mascot and World Series Champs banner.
Manufactured by Jostens, the ring is non-gold with cubic zirconia stones. It is a size 10, weighs 35.1 grams, and is in near mint condition with light signs of wear.
A great piece from one of the most memorable World Series championships in baseball history.
