1980 Kansas City Royals American League Champions 10K Gold Ring
The 1980 Kansas City Royals season was a historic one, as they clinched their first AL West Division title under manager Jim Frey. They finished with a 97-65 record and advanced to the postseason, where they defeated the New York Yankees 3-0 in the ALCS. George Brett, who posted an incredible .390 batting average, became the first Royals player to win the MVP award. Brett"s achievement was a highlight of the season, marking the highest batting average in the majors since Ted Williams' .406 in 1941.

In the World Series, however, the Royals were defeated by the Philadelphia Phillies, 4-2. To commemorate their AL Championship win, a Kansas City Royals 1980 American League Champions ring was created. The ring features a script "Royals" logo in gold over a blue stone, with "1980 American League Champions" engraved around the bezel. The inner band is stamped "10K Jostens," and the ring measures a size 14 and weighs approximately 32 grams. Light-to-moderate wear is visible, including scratches on the outer band and shanks (See Photos).
