The Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer ended the 2000 season with a record of 17 wins and 9 losses and 6 ties for 57 points finishing first in MLS's Central Division. The team compiled a postseason mark of 4-3.

Ante Razov scored 18 goals for the Fire, while Dema Kovalenko, Josh Wolff, Peter Nowak and Hristo Stoitchkov each contributed five or more, too. Peter Nowak accounted for 14 assists. The Philadelphia KiXX of the Major Indoor Soccer League ended the 2006-07 season with a record of 17 wins and 13 losses finishing second in the MISL. The team compiled a postseason mark of 3-1.

Philadelphia chalked up 174 goals and surrendered 163. Don D'Ambra scored 32 goals for the KiXX, while Dino Delevski, Tony Donatelli, Genoni Martinez, Pat Morris and John Nusum each netted fifteen or more, too. Genoni Martinez recorded 21 assists. Pete Pappas topped the squad with 15 wins.

Don D'Ambra coached the team. The 2006-07 Philadelphia KiXX won the Championship.
