Laurel & Hardy

Stan Laurel Vintage Original Beverly Hills Signed Check (1929) to

the Southern California Edison Company!

This 100% AUTHENTIC ....vintage, over-sized check is from one of the original, legendary comedian duo of Laurel & Hardy!

STAN LAUREL (1890-1965) This thin, shy, always confused partner was in one of most recognizable and most imitated comedic teams in film history. He began his career as understudy to Charlie Chaplin, later teaming with Oliver Hardy in an acting relationship for some twenty years. This vintage bank check drawn on the California National Bank of Beverly Hills, Feb. 16, 1929 ...Payable to "So. Calif. Edison Co." for 9.73 ...done completely in his hand. Almost 87-years-old, this check is exceptionally clean, with very minimal wear, and there's NO cancelation going through his signature, which is quite RARE to see! There's just one fold, which does not affect the eye-appeal.
