1975 USC Trojans NCAA National Champions Swimming Ring

This beautiful 1975 USC Trojans NCAA National Champions swimming ring was presented to Greg Hargrave, who was a member of the USC swim team during one of the most successful periods in the program’s history.

USC was a powerhouse in collegiate swimming during the 1970s under legendary coach Peter Daland. In 1975, the Trojans captured their second consecutive NCAA National Championship and seventh overall, finishing well ahead of second-place Indiana. The team featured several outstanding swimmers, including Olympic champion John Naber, who won three individual NCAA titles that year.

The ring has a classic 1970s design with a deep red stone and raised USC across the center. “National Champions”surrounds the face, while the sides feature USC and swimming imagery commemorating the championship season.

Hargrave attended USC from 1974–1978 and was part of three NCAA championship teams during his time with the Trojans.

The ring was manufactured by Jostens and is stamped © J in a diamond and YLTM. It is a size 10, weighs 26.3 grams, and is in near mint to mint condition.
