Whether it was good karma, huge hearts, bungling officials or divine intervention, one thing is certain - the Ohio State Buckeyes emerged from the Fiesta Bowl as National Champions for the first time in 34 years! After a remarkable undefeated season, the underdog Buckeyes took the field at Sun Devil Stadium against the big, bad Miami Hurricanes, and against all odds, emerged victorious in a double-overtime thriller, one of College Football's all-time classic games. Even in the third quarter, with the Buckeyes holding a 14-7 lead, the packed house (which sounded like a home crowd at Ohio Stadium) had no idea what they were about to witness. However, they liked what they saw as Craig Krenzel was once again leading the team down field, picking apart the "invincible" Miami defense. With the ball on the Miami 30 and Krenzel calling the play from the Shotgun...SNAP!
