This gorgeous 1981 San Francisco 49ers Super Bowl XVI Champions Gold-Plated Ring is a rare manufacturer sample produced by BALFOUR, who made all of the Super Bowl rings for the 49ers ....and has Hall-of-Fame great - Joe Montana's name on the side!
It's a Size 12.0 and is identical to Joe's with the exception that his is solid 10K Gold with diamonds, and would be in the six-figure range.
This beautiful ring has serial numbers and the Balfour marking inside (LGB BGP).
The 1981 San Francisco 49ers season was a historic one, culminating in the team's first Super Bowl victory. Led by legendary coach Bill Walsh and quarterback Joe Montana, the 49ers finished the regular season with a 13-3 record. Montana's stellar performance earned him the Super Bowl XVI MVP, as the team defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 26-21 in the championship game.
