This super cool, vintage 1949-50 Army 10K Gold Football Pendant / Fob belonged to Major Joel B. Stephens and is in really amazing shape, considering it's 68-years-old! The U.S. Military Academy finished 1949 with a PERFECT 9-0 under Head Coach Earl Blaik, and ended the season with shut-out of Navy, 38-0, which is also mentioned on one panel. Army finished the '49 season Ranked #4 in the Nation! In the following 1950 season, Army finished another impressive season with a 8-1 record & Ranked #2 in the Country!!

This RARE, one-of-a-kind pendant is from the last perfect football season Army has ever had! Presented to Major Joel B. Stephens, who finished his military career as a Colonel. The United States Military Academy now gives out a special award, called the Joel B. "Dopey" Stephens Award, which is presented to the most outstanding scout football player!
