This 2001-02 Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup Championship 14K Gold and Diamond Ring was presented to head athletic trainer John Wharton. The ring is a size 12, weighing approximately 57.2 grams and features a raised Red Wings logo encrusted with 24 precious rubies centered over the Stanley Cup on the tableau, this breath-taking creation is flanked by the words "Stanley Cup Champions" on either side of the raised image of the coveted trophy. A total of eighty-two (82) shimmering real diamonds can be found over the tableau. The left shank boasts the Red Wing's "10th Cup", while the right shank displays a three-dimensional Stanley Cup motif, with "Wharton" above and "2002" beneath.
