1989 Oakland A's World Series Champions 10K Gold Proto-Type / Sample Ring
was manufactured by word-renown Balfour and is very similar to what Oakland went with! After Balfour was awarded (and produced) the previous season ...1988 Los Angeles Dodgers World Series Ring, they were hoping to land the A's as well. The A's decided to go with Balfour's main rival, Jostens, as that was the company who has produced all of the Oakland A's previous 4-rings.
