2002 Evander Holyfield “The Real Deal” Fight-Worn Photo-Matched Trunks Vs. Hasim Rahman
These Evander “The Real Deal” Holyfield fight-worn boxing trunks have been photo matched to his June 1, 2002 fight against Hasim Rahman at the Atlantic City Convention Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Billed as “The Royal Comeback,” the bout served as a heavyweight title eliminator to determine the No. 1 contender for the WBC Heavyweight Championship. Holyfield defeated Rahman by an eighth-round TKO.
The red satin trunks feature “WARRIOR” embroidered across the waistband, “evander” and “holyfield” down the front panels, “real deal” on the left leg and “PHIL 4:13” on the right leg, along with Holyfield’s embroidered crest logos. The distinctive design and embroidery can be seen in fight imagery from the Rahman bout, providing a photo match to the fight.
Evander Holyfield is one of the most accomplished heavyweight boxers of all time and the only four-time world heavyweight champion. Nicknamed “The Real Deal,” Holyfield first became undisputed cruiserweight champion before moving to heavyweight, where he became undisputed heavyweight champion and recorded legendary victories over fighters including Mike Tyson, George Foreman, Larry Holmes, Riddick Bowe and Michael Moorer. He was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2017.
These photo-matched trunks represent an outstanding piece of boxing history from the career of one of the sport’s greatest heavyweight champions.
Condition: The trunks remain in excellent overall condition with visible signs of fight use. Please review all photos closely for exact condition.
