1985 Major League Baseball All-Star Game Ring

The 1985 Major League Baseball All-Star Game was played on July 16, 1985 at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The game brought together a tremendous group of baseball legends, including Cal Ripken Jr., George Brett, Rickey Henderson, Eddie Murray, Wade Boggs, Don Mattingly, Tony Gwynn, Ozzie Smith, Ryne Sandberg, Gary Carter and Dale Murphy.

The National League jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, defeating the American League 6–1. San Diego Padres pitcher LaMarr Hoyt earned All-Star Game MVP honors after throwing three scoreless innings and allowing just one hit.

Offered here is an original 1985 MLB All-Star Game ring, manufactured by Balfour. The ring features the MLB logo set beneath the red stone with ALL-STAR GAME surrounding the face. The side panels commemorate the American and National League All-Stars and the 1985 game at the Metrodome.

The ring is marked LGB and GTC, weighs 22.0 grams and is a size 7.
