Description

This is a striking and substantial 2012 Michigan Wolverines Sugar Bowl Champions ring, awarded to Tamani Carter, #20, a defensive back for the University of Michigan Wolverines football team. Crafted by Jostens, the ring is stamped with the "C" "J" in a diamond and "YLTM" hallmark, with Carter's name elegantly inscribed in script on the side.

Weighing 44.6 grams and measuring a size 10.5, the ring commemorates the Wolverines' outstanding 2011 season under first-year head coach Brady Hoke. Michigan finished with an impressive 11-2 record, including a rivalry win over Ohio State and a top-15 national ranking. Their season concluded with a dramatic 23-20 overtime victory over Virginia Techin the 2012 Allstate Sugar Bowl, marking the program's first BCS bowl win since 2000.

The ring remains in very good used condition, showing only light signs of wear. This is a rare and highly collectible piece of Michigan Wolverines football memorabilia, from one of the program's most memorable seasons in recent decades.
