Mike Bossy was one of the most prolific goal scorers in NHL history and a cornerstone of the New York Islanders dynasty of the early 1980s. Playing his entire career (1977-1987) with the Islanders, Bossy helped lead the team to four consecutive Stanley Cup championships (1980-1983). He recorded 573 goals and 1,126 points in just 752 games, becoming the fastest player ever to reach 500 goals and posting nine straight 50-goal seasons to start his career - an NHL record.
