This incredible game-worn and photo-matched 2017 USC Trojans home jersey was worn by Sam Darnold during USC's thrilling 28-27 comeback win over the Utah Utes on October 14, 2017 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The jersey shows outstanding use throughout with scuffs, hit marks, tears, and heavy interior fabric balling that all point to extensive on-field wear. He also helped lead USC to a memorable Rose Bowl victory over Penn State Nittany Lions, where he delivered one of the greatest performances in Rose Bowl history with 5 touchdown passes and 473 yards of total offense. Following the season, Darnold declared for the 2018 NFL Draft and was selected 3rd overall by the New York Jets.
