After a remarkable undefeated season, the underdog Buckeyes took the field at Sun Devil Stadium against the big, bad Miami Hurricanes, and against all odds, emerged victorious in a double-overtime thriller, one of College Football's all-time classic games. Even in the third quarter, with the Buckeyes holding a 14-7 lead, the packed house (which sounded like a home crowd at Ohio Stadium) had no idea what they were about to witness. However, they liked what they saw as Craig Krenzel was once again leading the team down field, picking apart the "invincible" Miami defense.
