2011 Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns "New Orleans Bowl Champions" NCAA Football Ring - Emeka Onyenekwu
This stunning championship ring commemorates the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns' historic victory in the 2011 New Orleans Bowl - the program's first-ever NCAA FBS bowl win. The ring belonged to Emeka Onyenekwu, a defensive end for the Cajuns who was part of the standout 2011 squad and later signed with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2013.
The team, led by head coach Mark Hudspeth, finished the season with a 9-4 record. Their dramatic 32-30 win over San Diego State was capped off by a game-winning 50-yard field goal by Brett Baer. Quarterback Blaine Gautier also set a New Orleans Bowl record with 470 passing yards.
Manufactured by Balfour, the ring is stamped "Balfour CEL" and engraved with the player's name inside. It is size 11.5 and weighs 43.2 grams. The ring is in near mint condition, showing only light signs of wear.
